ROG, known for its advanced technology, will exhibit its newest range of products at Computex 2023. The emphasis is on innovating PC DIY and peripherals to provide users with superior performance and immersive experiences.
The company will debut the ROG Matrix RTX 4090 liquid-cooled graphics card, scheduled for Q3 2023. This innovative graphics card incorporates the industry’s first liquid metal cooling directly on the GPU die, leading to lower temperatures, enhanced performance, and decreased noise levels. The card also includes a 360mm cooler, magnetically coupled fans, a potent pump, and an expanded cold plate for optimal cooling and maximum GPU boost clock.
Another product of interest is the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD Monitor, a 49-inch ultra-wide gaming monitor with 5120 x 1440 resolution. The monitor’s 1800R QD-OLED panel offers an immersive gaming experience with a 144Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. Additional design features such as a custom heatsink and a graphene film contribute to better heat dissipation and minimize burn-in risk. The monitor supports various connectivity options, including USB-C with 90W power, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1.
The ROG Swift PG38UQ, the first 38-inch 4K UHD gaming screen, stands out in the lineup. Its 144Hz refresh rate and Adaptive Sync technology facilitate a seamless gaming experience. It features ASUS Fast IPS technology for sharp, high-resolution gaming visuals and a 1ms (GTG) response time. As an HDR-compliant display with DisplayHDR 600 certification, it supports a 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, offering superior contrast and color performance. It allows native 4K 120Hz gaming via HDMI 2.1 and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync 144Hz technology for lag-free viewing.
The ROG Strix XG259QN, a 24.5-inch FHD gaming monitor, is ideal for users desiring a swift, reactive gaming experience. It offers a Fast IPS panel, a 360Hz refresh rate (overclockable to 380Hz), and a response time less than 1ms (GTG). With DisplayHDR400 certification, it provides vibrant colors, while FreeSync Premium ensures smooth gameplay. The ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB SYNC) technology in the monitor combines ELMB with a variable refresh rate (VRR), effectively removing ghosting and tearing for sharp visuals at high refresh rates. The monitor also supports various connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB 3.0.
Lastly, ROG and NVIDIA have launched a firmware update named G-SYNC Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB) 2 for the ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN monitor. This update equips competitive gamers with superior motion blur reduction, delivering over 1000Hz of effective motion clarity. ULMB 2 guarantees accurate color display for each pixel at the right time, thus eliminating blur with fast-moving objects on the screen.
