REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 12-2006 issued on July 13, 2006 prescribes the mechanics for the 102nd BIR Anniversary Celebration Essay Writing Contest. The contest is open to all personnel of the BIR. The theme for the contest is “How to Simplify Tax Administration”. Only one (1) finalist from each Revenue Group and Revenue Region shall be allowed to represent and compete in the grand finals to be held in the National Office. The essay (written in English), together with the entry form properly accomplished by the participant and duly noted by his/her immediate superior, should be submitted to the Contest Committee c/o the Chief-of-Staff, Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Resource Management Group not later than July 25, 2006. The following prizes shall be awarded to the contest winners, together with Certificates of Recognition, on August 1, 2006 at the BIR-NOB: 1st Prize – P10,000.00 2nd Prize – 7,500.00 3rd Prize – 5,000.00
