REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 67-2014 issued on August 29, 2014 announces the celebration of the 12th Anniversary of the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM).

       Presidential Decree No. 247 issued on September 2, 2002 declared the month of September of every year as DPRM. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Addressing the Jobs Challenge toward Inclusive Growth”, which highlights labor market issues, particularly the pressing need to increase quality job opportunities to address the perennially high rates of unemployment and underemployment in the Philippines and accelerate poverty reduction.

   In this regard, all Regional and District Offices are requested to provide their own DPRM streamer to be displayed at their building façade throughout the month of September. BIR employees may coordinate with other participating agencies in their respective areas for the specific activity that they may want to participate in.
