REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 56-2022 issued on April 27, 2022 publishes the March 16, 2022 letter from Food and Drug Administration OIC-Director General, Dr. Oscar G. Gutierrez Jr. endorsing updates to the List of VAT-Exempt Medicines under Republic Act No. 11534 (CREATE Act). Certain medicines for hypertension and COVID-19 treatment were included in the List while corrections were made for several medicines for hypertension.
