REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 55-2015 issued on September 2, 2015 encourages BIR offices to participate in the celebration of the 26th National Statistics Month (NSM) and the 2nd World Statistics Day (WSD).
The BIR will celebrate the 26th NSM from October 1-31, 2015, which will be focused on the theme “Pagyamanin at Gamitin Ang Estadistika, Kalusugan Para Sa Lahat Ay Abot-Kamay Na”. It will coincide with the observance of the 2nd WSD on October 20, 2015 with the theme “Better data, Better lives”.
All Revenue Regional and District Offices are requested to provide their own NSM streamers that will be displayed at the façade of their respective buildings throughout the month of October. Revenue personnel may coordinate with the participating agencies in their respective areas for the specific activity(ies) they may wish to be involved in.
