REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 105-2017 issued on December 29, 2017 informs all revenue officials, employees and others concerned on the reduction in the expiry period of Modified Disbursement System (MDS) check from six (6) months to three (3) months pursuant to Treasury Circular No. 3-2017 issued by the Bureau of the Treasury.

     All MDS checks received from the National Government Agencies in case of payment of taxes starting January 2, 2018 shall not be received, unless the words “VALID FOR THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE” are indicated in the MDS checks.
